“See What It Gets You”
Light shows you both the good and bad.
It can’t help it because it is simply the sun.
It shows you scars and wrinkles and your route to death, which is your own image in the full force of noon.
I was a fool to want to live forever, for forever can also mean hell.
The light from fire proves that.
I lived my life as a fraud looking into the light.
You go blind.
Sit out there in the desert sun, and see what it gets you.
The sun destroys.
No light can help you with the darkness of the human heart, and no brave action can save you.
We all go through it.
There is something more than light, and it is Love.

Beautiful photo of the City. I don’t understand this writing but I love it because it’s from your big ♥️
Con Amor,
Juana
Gracias Juana,
I hope you are blessed.
I am referring to the cliche of light as only some form of illumination and logical climax. The light is not enough to fulfill me because it shows me the contradictions in who I am; it shows my flaws, and if I depend on light alone to save me, it cannot do that because that is not its job. It is simply the sun, a shadow of something more. My understanding is not enough. My nobility or dignity is not enough.
It is only through Amor that we can both escape and save ourselves and others. Love is the root of light.
