Voice in the Wilderness

“Voice in the Wilderness”

It is raining and the water works to turn the streets into a desert.

I walk alone and miss you. The truth of memory hurts my heart.

Out of this nothing, a boy jumps and splashes, as if he is a modern art masterpiece not making any sense, at one with water, uncaring for anything except this storm.

It is a baptism.

Water works to help us grow.
