LOVE NEVER STOPS: MARCO’S CANCER RECOVERY

Loved Ones,

On Monday, March 15, 2021, our Brother Marco “Tony” Guardado was diagnosed with the most aggressive form of acute Leukemia. Since then he has suffered through the most intense chemotherapy medical treatments and has almost died a few times. Every day has been a battle.

The good news is that after almost three years, UCSF Hospital has notified Marco that there is a bone marrow donor! Unless he is able to withstand this bone marrow transplant process, Marco has only a few years left to live.

We hope this transplant will be successful and know it will be a difficult life-threatening procedure.

Please keep Marco in your prayers.

Born and raised in the City, Marco has been a staple of the Mission district and San Francisco as a whole. He attended City College of San Francisco for over a decade. He has dedicated his life to helping others in an intimate and community-based manner. At any moment, Marco would help you. He does not care about accumulating wealth or fitting into fixed standards. He loves catching the bus, riding his bike, and walking everywhere he goes. If you needed help moving, he would help you. If you need positive energy, he always has a smile and time to listen to you.

He thinks of others and has this message for you: “Take care of your health; there is nothing more precious in this world.”

“Love Never Stops: Marco’s Cancer Recovery”, this website blog, will champion Marco’s humanity and Amor, his recovery from acute Leukemia.
