“Easter Egg”

Epiphanies are not offered to us in order that we solve anything or save anyone from this world.

I don’t pretend to change history. I hope I’m not that vain.

I refuse to bow down to the world, so I will never become a king.

That is not enough for what matters most in the depths of my heart.

The truths of this world are worthless because they are of this world and not of my heart.

I cannot show you what I mean by my words because these words belong to this world. By trying to make this some kind of teaching moment, I turn these words into lies.

I don’t need very much, but I know what I need in my heart.

Amor is a blessing, a miracle, a rising from the dead!
